Nature is full of fascinating phenomena that we cannot understand, but we can explain. For example, nobody can understand quantum mechanics, but it can be explained beautifully by using the appropriate mathematics. Thus, science can amaze and marvel us all the time, without the unnecessary hypotheses that we insist on introducing due to our emotional fragility or just because we are afraid of the dark.

A natureza está repleta de fenômenos fascinantes que não podemos entender, mas que podemos explicar. Por exemplo, ninguém consegue entender a mecânica quântica, mas ela pode ser belamente explicada usando a matemática apropriada. Assim, a ciência consegue nos surpreender e maravilhar o tempo todo, sem as hipóteses desnecessárias que insistimos em introduzir devido à nossa fragilidade emocional ou somente por termos medo do escuro.
